The rapids at Shivpuri have been categorized into Grade 2 and 3 which are of medium and moderate difficulty. Of course, you can try cliff jumping, body surfing and chill in the water for some time. The difficulty level of these rapids is moderate and the passage is free from any serious obstacles. Which is the best time/season for River Rafting In Rishikesh?

Rafting in Rishikesh is one of the most thrilling sports activities which start between the months of February and June and again from September to mid December. Rafting in Rishikesh is not available during the monsoon months of July and August, as the level and flowing current of water rises very high during this season. Generally one raft can carry 6-8 rafters at a time. There is one instructor and one rafting guide on each raft while rafting. All rafters have to wear safety helmets and life jackets while rafting in Rishikesh. Every rafter has one rafting paddle in his hand, Instructor gives 5-10 minutes safety briefing to start rafting at Rishikesh.
